THREE CHEERS FOR THE FAT ITALIAN" - 'a joyfully profane ode to the life of a true hustler' - is the first single from the long-awaited and much-delayed debut album from KING GOON. The single will be released on SATURDAY 23RD MAY, with the premiere of the accompanying video clip occuring at 9pm the same day - a time of blossoming darkness that some members of the band refer to as "Giro Time". The single (plus 3 extra tracks) will be available to stream/download from all the usual digital capitalist outlets.

The song features Tom Emlyn (Bandicoot/News From Nowhere) on piano and organ and was recorded and mixed by Allen Chambers at Creature Sound Studios, Swansea. When pressed as to the nature of their relationship with the character featured in the song, songwriter and guitarist, Joel Morgan, cryptically replied that, "Giro just got you where you needed to go, when you needed to get there. That's all you know and all you need to know. Loose lips sink ships."
